AIR CDRE IJAZ RASUL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP School Referral program – 2026
Introduction
Naseem Ijaz Memorial College of Health Sciences (NIMCHS) is pleased to announce the 2026 School Referral Program for the prestigious Air Cdr Ijaz Rasul Merit Scholarship, aimed at supporting exceptional female students in pursuing FSc (Pre-Medical / Pre-Engineering) and ICS.
This initiative strengthens collaboration with schools and provides talented female students with an opportunity to receive fully-funded or partially-funded scholarships based on merit.
Purpose of the Referral Program
The Referral Program is designed to:
• Identify academically outstanding students from partner schools
• Provide financial support to motivated and deserving students
• Strengthen educational partnerships between NIMCHS and local schools
• Promote access to high-quality intermediate science education
Eligibility Criteria for Referred Students
Each participating school may nominate up to five (05) students who meet the following requirements:
Academic Requirements
• Expected to secure minimum 80% marks in Matric (Science)
• Must have 80% or above marks in 9th grade at the time of referral
• Strong academic record throughout grades 9–10
• Demonstrated interest in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Health Sciences
Character & Conduct
• Excellent discipline record
• Positive attitude, leadership qualities, and commitment to learning
Scholarship Coverage
Based on merit evaluation, selected students may receive one of the following scholarships:
• 100% Scholarship (Full tuition fee waiver)
• 75% Scholarship
• 50% Scholarship
• 25% Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded after:
Review of school referral forms
Scholarship test
Interview with the NIMCHS Scholarship Committee
Aggregate Calculation
The final merit aggregate will be calculated as follows:
• 70% – 9th Board Examination Marks
• 15% – Scholarship Test
• 15% – Interview
Referral Process
Step 1: School Nomination
The school principal or coordinator will recommend students using the official Ijaz Rasul Merit Scholarship Referral Form.
Step 2: Submission
Schools are required to submit the following documents:
• Referral Form (signed and stamped)
• Attested 9th grade result card
• Student’s CNIC / B-Form copy
• Two passport-size photographs
Step 3: Confirmation
Once the documents are received, NIMCHS will issue:
• Referral acknowledgment
• Test and interview schedule
• Instructions for next steps
Important Dates
• Referral Submission Deadline: 10th February 2026
• Interviews: 12th February 2026 – 20th February 2026
• Final Merit List Announcement: March 2026
• Inter Classes Begin: 15th April 2026
